Celebrating James Joyce’s Famous Novel ‘Ulysses’.
The Morning Stroll Starts in Letchworth Town at The Broadway Hotel (9:30am) to Station Road Post Office, readings include The Breakfast Scene in Bloom’s home and Martha Clifford’s letter as described in The Westland Row Post Office.
The Afternoon Stroll begins in Hitchin Town Centre at ‘Bloomsday Lunch’ in Granello Cafe (12:30pm) and then to The ‘Joyce and Ulysses’ Exhibition in The Hitchin Library and then on to Hitchin’s Original Cabman’s Shelter. Readings include the Lunchtime Scene in Davy Byrne’s Pub, Joyce’s Poetry and Short stories and The Cabman’s Shelter Scene.
