Little Lights Live

The Victoria, Ickleford Road, Hitchin
7.30pm

Mark O’Sullivan is bringing back the Making Lemonade podcast—this time in a fresh and uplifting live format designed to celebrate the good in the world.

Set to take place on Monday, April 27th at The Victoria Pub, the event will feature a live podcast recording with a unique twist: audience participation. In response to the often overwhelming cycle of negative news, Little Lights Live aims to spotlight positivity, kindness, and the small but meaningful moments that remind us of the good around us.

Described as a “show-and-tell for uplifting stories” the event invites attendees to share their own experiences—whether it’s a random act of kindness, an unexpected moment of beauty, or something simply worth celebrating. Participants will have the opportunity to speak for five minutes and contribute directly to the live podcast recording.

“It’s hard not to be brought down by the neverending cycle of upsetting and worrying news. Sometimes we need to focus on something else. People are – and the world is – actually pretty grea in so many wayst,” says O’Sullivan. “This is about creating a space to remind ourselves of that.”

The event is open to all, and tickets are free (but limited!).
