Making Art Accessible

The Arts Society (North Hertfordshire) holds ten one hour lectures each year.

The next speaker is Imogen Corrigan, who will give a lecture on The Lindisfarne Gospels. The lecture considers the extraordinary artistic ability of Eadfrith, who is thought to have made the Gospels single-handedly in c.700 and a discussion on the added gloss by Aldred nearly 300 years later.
