North Herts Association in support of National Trust – What’s On item for March 2026

North Herts Association of National Trust: Our next talk will be at 7.30 pm on Wednesday,

March 4th, 2026.  The topic is: Land Beneath the Waves: local landscape and nearby nature by Nic Wilson – a writer, editor and Guardian country diarist for Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, specialising in wildlife, wild plants and environmental issues. Based on her

nature memoir “Land Beneath the Waves” Nic will take you on a journey

through Hitchin’s wild places.

As usual, it will be held at Christchurch, Bedford Road, Hitchin, SG5 1HF. Non-members welcome, £3 on the door. (Membership of National Trust not necessary). Second hand books are on sale at every meeting with refreshments available in the break, cost £1.
