The Distinguished Gentleman’s ride

On Sunday 17th May 2026 thousands of motorcyclist around the world will be dressing in their most dapper outfits and taking to the road to raise money for men’s health.

The Distinguished Gentleman’s ride is now in its 15th year. Since its creation in 2012 the initiative has been rolled out to 121 countries around the world and has raised $60M USD for Movember – a charity which works across two of the most complex issues facing men around the globe: prostate cancer and mental health

For the 3rd year running Veloce Club are leading a ride of approximately 150 riders from their cafe and shop in Bury Mead Road to Shuttleworth and back. Last year we raised over £15,000 and we’d love to beat that total this year. The ride will take about an hour from Hitchin to Shuttleworth due to the amount of riders taking part. We are leaving Veloce Club HQ at 10:15 and will be proceeding along Bancroft and through town to the Market Square for approximately 10:25, then heading up through Henlow to Shuttleworth. We’d love people to come and cheer us on and show us some support as we make our way through town.

We are due back at Veloce Club just before 1pm for a BBQ and some music if anyone would like to come and join us there. Parking will be limited due to the amount of bikes we will have there but its only a short stroll from

town.
