Ducks are getting ready for the race!
The Great Hitchin Duck Race will take place along the River Hiz as part of > https://www.streetfoodmonthly.co.uk/hitchin
The event will involve over 200 rubber ducks entering the River Hiz and then racing them downstream to the finish line. Bridge to Bridge. Locals and businesses will have a chance to sponsor a duck and come along to cheer it on as it races down the river.
You can put your name down for a duck if you come to the Visit Hitchin Shop. £3 a duck. Maximum 3 ducks per person, and all the money goes back into supporting the Town Centre. The lucky winner will be crowned at the event.
